Запустили мы 19 марта Internet Explorer 8. Растёт он неплохо - на некоторых больших счётчиках у него 2%+, на некоторых - уже почти 3%. На Windows Update мы его ещё не выкладывали, но скоро выложим. Множество мероприятий по продвижению ещё впереди. IE8 только начался :-) Мне нравится например вот этот график:
Уверен, самое интересное у нас ещё впереди. Оказалось, что совместимость в итоге хорошая. Что IE8 хорошо доступен как на сайте MS, так и через партнёров (Mail.ru, Yandex, Rambler). Что ежедневно приходит всё больше новых дополнений в нашу русскую галерею IE8. Что мы обогнали по числу пользователей ближайшего конкурента, Google Chrome, за один рабочий день и два выходных (это мелочь, конечно, но приятно :-). Что никто так и не смог сказал, какое конкретно веб-приложение работает в IE8 медленно (некоторые тормозящие открытие новых табов тяжеленные тулбары, установленные самим пользователем - не в счёт).
Однако, мы открыты к вашим мнениям! Меня очень интересует что же глючит, что можно поправить? Особенно интересует процесс скачивания и установки, а также вопросы совместимости. Если вам есть что сказать, пожалуйста, запросто напишите мне пару строк, а?
